ROBERTO LOPEZ
BIOGRAPHY
For the last seven years, Roberto has worked as the stunt coordinator for various hit shows on Comedy Central, including the networks biggest hit, CHAPPELLE’S SHOW . He recently worked as a stunt performer and lead stunt rigger in the upcoming BEOWULF & GRENDEL and as a stunt rigger on THE LEGEND OF ZORRO. He served as 2nd unit director/stunt coordinator on BLAZIN’, an action/martial arts film which peaked at #15 on the Billboard charts and remained there for six consecutive weeks. He produced and directed segments for the documentaries BIG PUN: STILL NOT A PLAYER and BIG PUN LIVE. In addition, he starred in the feature TRINITY GOES EAST and was contracted to produce and direct bonus footage for the direct to video release of WU-TANG CLAN COLLECTIONS.
Roberto has worked alongside some of Hong Kong ’s greatest, including Jet Li and Samo Hung in ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA & AMERICA and Robert Tai, famous for his work on Shaw Brothers Studio’s Five Deadly Venoms, Kid with the Golden Arm and China Town Kid, in TRINITY GOES EAST.
Over the years, Roberto has worked as a producer, 2 nd unit director, stunt coordinator and stunt performer on many feature films, television, print and commercials. Some of his credits include OLD NAVY, OLYMPUS, VOGUE, W MAGAZINE, VICTORIA’S SECRET, L’OREAL, NICKELODEON, HALLMARK CHANNEL, NEW BALANCE, PERFECT FIT, SPY, COLLAGE OF OUR LIVES (Japan), Z-CHRONICLES (w/ Wu Tang Clan), MARTIN AND ORLOFF (w/ Ian Roberts and Mat Walsh), and DOLEMITE 2000 (w/ Rudy Ray Moore). |
